One of GLITCH's hallmarks has been its musical diversity - they can range from hardcore to trance to ambient, all on the same release. One need only realize the vast difference between labels like Fax and Industrial Strength, both of which GLITCH has recorded for, to see proof of that diversity.
It is because of this diversity, and the lack of desire of most techno labels to support it, that Bump & Dan have created Defective Records. In addition to releasing all future GLITCH tracks, the label will also support the extremely active (but never before heard from) Baltimore electronic music scene...
"If...Then" shows off GLITCH's range of musical styles, with tracks ranging from trance to hardcore to hard-to-classify. It's a taste of the full length "Out of Sync", due out in the summer of '94... on Defective Records.
