------------------ Using The Peavey pc1600x as a Roland MC 303 Bass Controller. This is another setup for the Roland Groovebox. It will work only on Midichannel 2 (most of the Rolandpreset - patterns work with "Bass" on channel 2) Below is the description of the faders and buttons Fader 01 - Cutoff Fader 02 - Resonance Fader 03 - Attack Fader 04 - Decay Fader 05 - Release Fader 06 - Chorus Send Lvl Fader 07 - Reverb Send Lvl Fader 08 - Vibrato Rate Fader 09 - Vibrato Depth Fader 10 - Vibrato Delay Fader 11 - Modulation Fader 12 - Portamento Time Fader 13 - Expression Fader 14 - Pitchbend Fader 15 - Pitchbend Sensitivity Fader 16 - Volume Most of the faders will send Sysex-Strings to your machine. Button 01 - Lead TB 1 Button 02 - Lead TB 2 Button 03 - Lead TB 3 Button 04 - Wow TB Button 05 - Normal TB Button 06 - Distorted TB 1 Button 07 - Distorted TB 2 Button 08 - Acid TB 1 Button 09 - Acid TB 2 Button 10 - Acid TB 3 Button 11 - Acid TB 4 Button 12 - Chorus 3 / Feedback Chorus (corresponding with Fader 6 "Chorus Send Level") Button 13 - Flanger / Short Delay (corresponding with Fader 6 "Chorus Send Level") Button 14 - Hall 2 / Plate (corresponding with Fader 7 "Reverb Send Level") Button 15 - Delay / Panning Delay (corresponding with Fader 7 "Reverb Send Level") Button 16 - Normal Mode / Sound Modul Button 1 to 11 are Programchange Buttons. Button 12 to 16 are programmed with 2 Commands. If you press button 12 the "Chorus 3" will be active. Pressing button 12 one more time "Feedback Chorus" will be active. Same procedures on button 13, 14, 15 and 16. I´ve tested it in Soundmodule and Normal Mode with Cubasis VST2.0, Cubase 5.0 Demo and MidiOx Start your sequencer. Set the MidiOut to the MC303 and the Midichannel to 2. Select the Part 2 on the MC303. Press play on MC303. Now you will slide the faders to edit the sound. Or load a Midi - Pattern into your sequencer and play around with the faders and buttons.
