I am a guy from germany playing mainly el-bass and recording and producing with 
cubase audio.Although it seems the CBX D5 seems to end up in museum, i still 
like them. They got fat sound and I think Yamaha gave them a lot of their 
digitalmixconsole experience.In facts like latency, snyc  and cpu-tweaking the 
cbxes are perfect. Allthough I got the pulsar-creamware pci-card at the moment i 
will trust more to Yamahas sync capabilities.The Peavey fader box is the missing 
link to drive the cbxes just like a small protools. If there out in the internet 
are any other last mowhicans using the cbxes please contact me for chat. It was 
a lot of work programming the presets but its free to You. If you like it- send

Preset: CBX VOL&Pan 1-8 (volpan.mid)
Fader 1- 8: Vol 1-8
Fader 9-16: Pan 1-8  
Button1- 8: Ch1-8 mute/bypass
Button9-16: EQ1-8 on/bypass 


Preset: CBX SENDS 1-4
Fader 1- 4: FXsend1
Fader 5- 8: FXsend2
Fader 9-11: FXsend3
Fader12-16: FXsend4

is similar to preset cbx#1eq3presence. Only different midichannel (5) for the 
second unit.

It is possible to change Fx of cbxes via button switch. The FX assignments are
